HAUTE COUTURE DIOR COLLECTION 2013-2014
La marcha de Galliano marco un antes y un después en el mundo de la moda, y sobre todo en la maison Dior. Se oía: “Dior no será lo mismo sin el maestro” “Nadie estará a la altura del diseñador”…y de repente como si de magia se tratara aparece un belga llamado Raf Simons, que no solo ha sabido mantener el status de la firma, sino que ha reinventado y devuelto la elegancia que caracterizaba a la marca. No tengo palabras para describir el trabajo que realiza este diseñador, cada colección es mejor que la anterior, cada detalle, puntada, color, forma, tejido…es mejor. Es su tercer trabajo de Alta Costura para la maison, una colección bastante diferente a las anteriores en mi opinión. Mas transgresora y atrevida, aunque manteniendo ese toque Dior. Simons plantea una colección en la que engloba diversas culturas y estereotipos femeninos. Se aleja de lo clásico para dejar paso a looks un tanto futuristas, algunos con un toque étnico, sugerentes transparencias, juego de rayas y estampados….Vestidos asimétricos, abrigos oversizes y mucho color, toca cada uno de ellos sin olvidar el clásico negro. En conclusión una colección de lo mas variada, tal vez la menos comercial pero esta claro que en el mundo de la moda hay que innovar y mostrar el arte que cada uno lleva dentro. Galliano fue y es uno de los grandes, pero Raf Simons tiene ese algo que cambia la visión de la moda….

I have no words to describe the work performed by this designer, each collection is better than the previous one, every detail, stitch, color, shape, fabric... is better. It is his third Haute Couture work for la maison, a collection that is quite different from the previous ones in my opinion. More transgressive and bold, while maintaining that touch Dior. Simons presents a collection that embraces diverse cultures and female stereotypes. It moves away from the classical to give way to a somewhat futuristic looks, some with an ethnic touch, suggestive transparencies, game of stripes and prints... dresses asymmetrical, oversizes coats and lots of color, it touches every one of them without forgetting the classic black. In conclusion a collection of the most varied, perhaps the less commercial but is clear that in the world of fashion is necessary to innovate and show art that each one carries inside. Galliano was and is one of the greats, but Raf Simons has something that changed my vision of fashion...
ARMANI PRIVÉ 2013-2014
Debo admitir que Armani no es uno de mis diseñadores favoritos, es uno de los grandes de eso no hay duda, pero tal vez su estilo no va acorde con el mío. También puede ser por esa moda en la que todos los "niñatos" vestían con camisetas GIORGIO ARMANI, hecho que marco mi infancia y mi salud mental. Pero lo bueno de esta vida es que siempre hay algo nuevo que te sorprende y esta vez viene de la mano de la nueva colección del Señor Armani. El diseñador nos hace viajar en el tiempo, nos encontramos en el Hollywood de los años 50, donde convivían divas como Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Deborah Kerr, Ava Garner y Lauren Bacall entre muchas otras. Mujeres que marcaron un antes y un después en la moda, sus estilos siguen siendo tendencia y sobre todo fuente de inspiración para las nuevas promesas de la moda. Armani Privé muestra una colección llena de brillos, plumas, encajes, perlas....Cortes clásicos y cinturas definidas, chaqueta-joya estructuradas. Los pantalones y faldas llevan una línea mas amplia, en cuanto al color...su definición es "nude", se ha dejado llevar por colores neutros y el negro como acompañante. En cuanto a los vestidos...¿que puedo decir? son pequeñas obras de arte, me encanta la combinación de tejidos y la delicadeza de cada pieza. Viendo esta colección he recordado a las antiguas divas...aquellas que a día de hoy seguimos emulando y admirando. Este post va dedicado a cada una de ellas.
I must admit that Armani is not one of my favorite designers, is one of the greats of that no doubt, but perhaps his style won't work consistent with mine. It can also be by the fashion in which all the "Brats" wore GIORGIO ARMANI shirts, made with that frame my childhood and my mental health. But the beauty of this life is that there is always something new that surprises you and this time comes from the hand of the new collection of Mr Armani. The Designer makes us travel back in time, we are in the Hollywood of the 1950s, where lived divas like Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Deborah Kerr, Ava Garner and Lauren Bacall among many others. Women that marked a before and an then in fashion, their styles are still trend and above all a source of inspiration for new pledges of fashion. Armani Prive shows a collection full of sparkles, feathers, lace, pearls...Classic cuts and defined waists, chaqueta-joya structured. Pants and skirts have a line more extensive, in terms of color... its definition is "nude", has been carried away by neutral colours and black as a companion. As for dresses... do I can say? they are small works of art, I love the combination of fabrics and the delicacy of each piece. Seeing this collection I have reminded the old divas... those that today we continue admiring and emulating. This post is dedicated to each of them.
